Our client is looking for a Site Manager to join their team in VI or VII Region, Chile. We’re looking for an experienced professional to be responsible for ensuring that a construction project is completed on time and within budget. The professional’s main responsibilities will be:
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
Coordinating and supervising construction workers
Selecting tools and materials
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
Maintaining quality control procedures
Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
Assessing and minimizing risk
Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
Helping to negotiate contracts and securing permits and licenses;
Manage daily on-site operations such as headcount, check-ins of employees to ensure staff’s availability during working hours.
Education and experience required
English: Advanced is a MUST.
+2 years’ experience in construction and solar projects
5-7 years total of experience
Experience being the responsible of the budget and weekly report
Availability to work and live in VI or VII Region
