Job Description

Our client is looking for an Execution Analyst to join their team in Santos, Brazil. The individual will be responsible for a range of logistics functions. The candidate will have exposure to container and supply chain movements. The professional main responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinate shipping schedules between the customer and origin/producer as per contractual terms.

  • Liaise with the Shipping Lines regarding freight booking requirements.

  • Daily communication with contractual counterparties, in relation to counterparty documentary requirements, shipping schedules, and transit progress.

  • Processing and/or checking of Shipping Documents such as Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Health, Weight and Quality Certificates, etc.

  • Processing purchase and peripheral services invoice. Ensure all parties (producers, surveyors, customs brokers, and freight lines) are promptly paid.

  • Arranging insurance cover of shipments and issuance of insurance certificates.

  • Negotiate documents and raising sales invoices for sugar on our in-house system.

  • Follow up with the client of any additional demands.

  • Chasing clients for any late payments.

  • Receipt of quality complaints from clients. Action and follow up solutions to quality issues.

Education and experience required

  • Fluency in English and Spanish

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing clearly, confidently and diplomatically at all levels both internally and externally, and concisely express issues of a complex nature.

  • In due course willing to take full responsibility for the effective resolution of logistical and operational issues.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Diligence and complete attention to detail.
