Chief Marketing Officer
Multinational Entertainment Company
Our client is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join their team in São Paulo, Brazil. The individual will focus on leading and overseeing the planning, development, execution and monitoring of all marketing strategy, guaranteeing revenue growth and expansion of the business across both retail and digital channels. The professional main responsibilities will be:
Facilitate and drive retail sales
“Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company
Ensure a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands with other departments
Design and monitor country-wide retail execution plans
Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
Manage a digital marketing team, with responsibilities across the consumer life cycle
Lead Marketing Team
Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
Oversee the development and placement of the creative elements that position the company in the marketplace
Manage market research and business insight functions.
Education and experience required
Experience in leading commercial, marketing or sales organizations
Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.)
Proven management of annual marketing budgets and resource planning.
Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods, with an ability to translate findings into actionable insight.
Demonstrable experience in managing cross channel communications.
Experience in managing digital customer acquisition and CRM.
Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
A Master's degree in marketing or related field or an MBA may be highly desirable.
More than 8 years' proven experience in a marketing manager or business development role.
Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms
Proficiency in English
