Job Description

Our client is looking for Country Privacy Lead to join their team in São Paulo, Brazil. The individual will be responsible for the overall administration and execution of the global compliance and privacy program for the country and or subsidiary. The professional main responsibilities will be:

  • Report directly into the local legal director and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Privacy Office and the SVP of Privacy - Regional Privacy Officer, for their region.

  • Privacy Notice/Consent Form Communication and Reporting

  • Ongoing monitoring of all personal data processing activities for the country

  • Data Mapping Questionnaire (DMQ) Completion & Ongoing Updates

  • Data Mapping Questionnaire (DMQ) Quality Review

  • Client Contracts

  • Vendor Due Diligence

  • Provide specific reporting metrics as required by the Privacy Office on a regular, consistent basis.

  • Act as point of contact for BCR/GDPR audits

Education and experience required

  • Graduated in Law or IT.

  • Bilingual in Portuguese and English language

  • Experience project manager that has managed country-wide projects from inception to implementation.

  • Working knowledge of Data Privacy Regulations with a CIPP certification from the IAPP or the ability to gain CIPP Certification

  • Effective communication skills with both front line representatives and management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including a good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
